This Parallel Edition reimagines the same artwork in a rare alternate color scheme — echoing a different emotional world, available in limited quantities.
Inspired by the "parallel" concept from collectible cards, this version exists in another visual realm — subtle, mysterious, and rare.
This is the series Wakan Hyaku Monogatari (One Hundred Ghost Stories from Japan and China), created by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839–1892), a ukiyo-e artist active during the late Edo and Meiji periods. Inspired by strange and supernatural tales from both Japan and China, the series was published in 1865 (Keiō 1), when Yoshitoshi was 27 years old. Around twenty years later, he would go on to create another yokai-themed series titled Shingata Sanjūroku Kaizen (New Forms of Thirty-Six Ghosts).
